Straight answers about booking, payment, what we clean and what we don't.
What does a standard house cleaning include?
Kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas are dusted, wiped and cleaned, beds are made, trash is emptied, and floors are vacuumed and mopped. The full room-by-room list is on our Checklist page.
How is a deep clean different from a standard clean?
A deep clean covers everything in a standard visit, then adds the detail work: baseboards, doors and door frames, window sills and frames, cabinet and drawer fronts, the range-hood vent and shower grout. It's the usual starting point for a home that hasn't been professionally cleaned in a while.
Do you bring the cleaning supplies?
Yes. Supplies and equipment are included with every clean. If you'd like us to use a particular product, tell us before the visit; you may need to provide it.
Are your cleaners background-checked? Are you insured?
Yes to both. Two Pro Maids is an insured business, and every cleaner we send into a home has passed a background check.
Which towns do you serve?
We're based in Bryn Mawr and clean in Villanova, Haverford, Ardmore, Gladwyne, West Conshohocken and Havertown. We travel up to about 25 miles, so if your town isn't listed, send us a message and we'll tell you whether we can reach you.
How does payment work?
We keep a card on file. Roughly 24 hours before your appointment we place a temporary hold for the booking amount, and the card is only charged once the clean is finished.
When will the cleaner arrive?
Appointments are booked with an arrival window of about two hours. If we're running behind, we'll contact you with an updated time.
How much notice do you need to cancel or reschedule?
At least 48 hours, please. Changes made with less notice carry a cancellation fee; the details are in our Terms of Service.
Is there anything you won't clean?
For safety, our cleaners don't go above a three-step ladder or move heavy furniture and appliances. We also don't take on biohazards, mold removal, upholstery cleaning or floor refinishing. The complete list is in our Terms of Service.
How should I get ready for my cleaning?
Clear clothes, toys, dishes and general clutter off floors, counters and tables before we arrive, and put away cash, jewelry and other valuables. That way the visit goes to cleaning rather than tidying.
What are your hours?
Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM, and Saturday, 9 AM to 2 PM. We're closed on Sundays and on major holidays.
